Safety
At Hoosier Glass Company, we promote strong safety standards. Company wide, we abide by a set of strict safety guidelines to ensure the safety of our employees and to secure the interests of our customers. We’ve contracted the services of Safety Resources to provide guidance in our efforts to ensure we’re doing everything possible to create a safe work environment at our facility and on job sites.
Safety Committee Promotes:
- Development of Safety Programs and Policies
- Enforcement of Established Programs and Policies
- Incident Review and Analysis
Periodically, the safety coordinator analyzes the data from our OSHA 200 log to determine our strengths and weaknesses. Based on these evaluations, we change our policies to strengthen any identified areas of weakness.
Hoosier Glass Company holds annual safety meetings to provide continued safety education to all of our personnel. We conduct monthly “tool box” workshops for all field and shop employees and implement the “tool box” workshop information as part of new hire orientation.
